Hello internet

Hello,
My name is Minerva and I am 18 years old.
I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog since lately I have had a lot of things on my mind and can not find any other way to share them with people, or at least people that would care.

Now that might sound a bit bitter but I do not mean it like that in any way. I guess I just don't have the ability to communicate with others in person about what my perspectives are on certain topics, you know? For example there are days or moments in which I am talking with my parents, having a casual conversation with someone, or just sitting at home (thinking) and I realize something that I had never really put much thought into.

Whoa. I am coming off as verrrry deep. Well sorry about that, but anyway I basically made this blog in order to express myself in a different light other than just through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and all those social sites that only allow you to see me through photos or small pointless sentences/words.

I also enjoying writing (in this case typing) so why not give it a go?

And since this is my very first, well I had a post before but it was really embarrassing so I got rid of it, official post I thought I would share a little bit about me.

• I am American. I have lived in the States my entire life, the west coast to be exact and I love it. I love living in LA because you never get bored here. Even though I have lived here my entire life I enjoy every bit of what it has to offer from Venice beach to Hollywood, there is so much entertainment.

• I have an amazing family which consists of both of my parents and my younger sister. I would put a picture but I don't have one on my laptop at the moment.
• I just finished High School in June, YAAAAY *does little dance* but that means I am in a very odd time in my life where I don't know what I want to do next. (I will do another post on this topic). 
• I love meeting new people! Its a nice feeling when you can randomly meet someone whom you can learn from or have so much in common with :) 
• I am bilingual. Therefore, I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I wish I could speak like French or something, that would be so cool, but honestly I think Im a bit too old to learn a new language. Well not too OLD but old enough to where I think I might carry an American accent if I were to learn one now; if that makes sense. 

Anyway I think that might be it.. for now. I know I will think of more things to share about me later on. I really look forward to posting more and getting this blog going because what actually inspired me to create it was the fact that when I was in High School I never really heard of people writing blogs or sharing with others helpful tips on youth or life in general(sounds cheesy, I know what you are thinking). There might have been blogs up but not specific ones created by people my age at the time. Even today I don't know of anyone who writes a blog and I personally think it can be fun writing about what I am currently going through in this awkward stage of my life and maybe.. just maybe someone out there might be feeling the same way? IF not I totally respect individual opinions. :) But to put this in simpler terms Ill post things regarding interests of mine that for some reason have the urge to write about haha.
