UCLA is officially my new home! And so far it has treated me fairly well :D
It is not easy coming here as a first year student and first generation. It can be so overwhelming with all the information we receive and all but it slowly but surely works out.
So far I have been here for 5 days and they have been the most confusing yet fun days ever. Since I have been exploring the many wonders of UCLA here are some.
Second day: We had a huge welcome meeting in Pauley. I went from a 130 something grad class to thidwkjngeifjndkfngigoef.
I have done a lot of walking so..
I found cool abstract art displayed which I have no idea of its meaning or comprehension of the object itself, BUT I dig it.
Naked lady statue in the middle of the pavement. Great spot for everyone to observe, clever.
Creative door stops. Never thought of it. Gosh so much creativity!
I also had Taco Bell Locos Doritos Tacos (I think that is what they are called) for the first time ever! Thanks to my friends and roomies. They were really good, better than what I expected.
While on one of my journeys to find a building I bumped into this poster of James Franco.. yes I fan-girled a bit so I took a picture. What an inspiration, love him.

On the third day we were required to do volunteer work. We ended up painting a wall at a Girls and Boys club for younger kids which I think worked out pretty nicely. :)
My roomies and I were on the hunt for a building on campus and passed by this one which had a very interesting quote on top of the entrance. "Nothing is too wonderful to be true."
HAPPY FALL :)
