Music favs

I occasionally tend to have huge nerdy moments when it comes to music.

When people ask me what kind of music I listen to I never say just one genre which then leads me to blabbing on about all kinds of artists or bands that they have never listened to (some that they have).

But I just wanted to write about my current music obsessions.

At the moment I am really into Rudimental which is a sort of DJ-ish, electronic, and fun listen which consists of 4 British guys who I unfortunately do not know the names of. Wiki has not really written about them since they are not that well known yet. My favorite song at the moment is "Feel The Love" and "Waiting All Night" (links will be below for their songs). At first I just thought it was a GOOD song but after watching a live performance by them I immediately started searching for more. It is pretty rare to have such a great live performance on a very up beat song and they absolutely nailed it. Their drummer is really good and they have trumpets as well! I think that is pretty awesome because I feel it gives a much subtle sound that is not so electronic and annoying to the ear.

Moving on to another fav., it would have to be Justin Timberlake's new album The 20/20 Experience, I love this album so much that I basically know every song on there. I am anxious for the second part which will be coming out later on in September! He has an amazing voice, like seriously, how can he be a male (a very attractive one at that) and be able to hit such high notes!? Its mind blowing how great he is at manipulating lyrics and sing them in a way that you cannot help but have them stuck in your head. A perfect example of what I am trying to say is Jay-Z's new song "Holy Grail" which features Justin and to be honest.. the only reason why I like it is because of Justin's part.
But besides that.. never mind I think I am blabbing too much about Justin Ill post something solely based on him later :)

Florence + The Machine. I am completely enamored by Florence's voice after hearing "Over The Love" from The Great Gatsby film. Lately I have searched more of her and I have officially become a fan. I love her soft powerful voice and her sense of style is amazing as well. You might have heard of her from the popular song "Sweet Nothing" by Calvin Harris but her music is just as great. I would also recommend "You've Got The Love" and "Shake It Out". Overall she is incredible and definitely gives me the goosbumps when live (through YouTube).
